In the former VIP (T4) guide, we have mentioned all the T4 VIP levels plus their features and benefits. This guide will review the VIP that requires VIP (T5) points and the latest VIP features and services they bring.  As new VIP levels are released, this content will continue to be updated.

Make sure to check out the (T5) Chart at the end of this guide!

Not at VIP (T5) yet?

Check out the VIP (T4) guide!

The VIP (T4) guide also includes a VIP (T3) chart for 90 to 130!

The link will be provided at the bottom of this guide!

We will also cover:

  • VIP 161 to 170 benefits
  • 171 to 180 benefits
  • 181 to 190 benefits
  • 191 to 200 benefits
  • 201 to 210 benefits
  • Where to find Hero and Squad Skill Presets
  • VIP Features and how they work
  • Chart for VIP (T5)

Next, we will break down VIP levels based on their releases and the unique VIP features to examine. Remember that the next-level bonuses you see on your current VIP level are increased, not the maxed amount.

VIP 161 to 170

Promoting your Mercenaries through the Training Camp can get pricey. VIP 164 and 167 can help reduce your Resource and Speed Up costs towards promoting them from one level to the next.

Mercenary Promotion

At VIP 164, when the new features kick in, it unlocks the Cost Efficiency of T7 Resources towards Mercenary Promotion. VIP 167 opens Mercenary Promotion Upgrade Speed, both up to 50%!

Hero Skill Preset

Ember accumulates another three Hero Skill Preset from VIP 161 to 170.

  • Ember Hero Preset: VIP 161, 167, and 170

Squad Skill Preset

Two additional Squad Presets for each Squad unlock between VIP 162 to 170.

  • Lieutenant Hannibal – 162 plus 167
  • Commander Molotov – 163 as well as 169
  • Capitan Clare – 163 in addition to 168
  • Major Melody – 165 along with 170

Efficiency versus Reduction

When looking into Efficiency, it is crucial to look into your numbers. It is beneficial but at a high percentage. Keep in mind that Efficiency is NOT a Reduction! If it says 100% Efficiency, it does not mean 100% Reduction. There is a significant discrepancy.

The formula for Efficiency is:

Original cost/(1+efficiency) = Efficiency Cost

When looking into packs or increasing your Efficiencies and making observations, it is essential to look out for those bonuses.

For example, 100% Efficiency vs. 70% Reduction, the 100% Efficiency may look more appealing when a 70% reduction is significantly better.

When applying the efficiency percentage into the formula, make sure to convert to decimal form.

VIP 171 to 180

(December 14th, 2020)

With the latest VIP levels, you can earn even more efficiencies towards your Mercenary Promotion when upgrading to 180. Also, unlock the amazingly convenient Hero Skill to Here feature, along with more Squad Skill Presets.

When reading the blog, take precautions as it mentions the MAXED VIP stats, not additional nor added onto the current VIP.

Next, let’s break down the ‘Hero Skills to Here’ concept and see how you can save time applying Hero Skills to your Heroes!

Hero Skills to Here

When reaching VIP 180, you can unlock the “Hero Skills Max to Here” component. The Hero Skill to Here featuring will allow you to select any Skill in your Heroes’ Skill Tree and automatically apply all Hero Skill Points up to that node, enabling you to do it all with one click! The purpose of this feature is to bring convenience when multi-leveling your Hero and having fewer clicks to push when applying skills.

The Hero Skill to Here feature works with Mastery Skills too!

For example, in the screenshot below, I will be using Xira to use the Hero Skills to Here feature.

Scroll down to select a Skill that you would like that is further down the Skill Tree.

You then will see the “Max Unlock to Here” button.

Hero Max to Here SKill

This element will then spend the minimum required number of skill points needed to unlock the nodes up to this skill. Afterward, it will use any leftover skill points to max out each prerequisite starting with the earliest skill. Then you will need to apply the Skills in the current skill you are trying to max out.

Squad Skill Presets

Each Squad will gain an additional Squad Skill Preset or two.

  • Lieutenant Hannibal – VIP 171
  • Capitan Claire – VIP 173 as well as VIP 177
  • Commander Molotov – VIP 174 in addition to VIP 179
  • Major Melody – VIP 175 along with VIP 180

As mentioned in the VIP (T4) guide, the Squad Preset Feature is very similar to your Hero Skill Presets. When you activate a Squad in the Skill Tree, you will notice a row under the Squad.

To set a Squad Preset, click onto one of the numbers to be taken to the Squad Member Skill Preset menu, which will allow you to name the Skill then and set it up to your liking.

For some guidance and tips on getting set up your Squads, check out the Squad guides!

Links to Squad guides will be provided at the end of this guide!

VIP 181 to 190

(February 2nd, 2021)

The VIP 190 release, VIP 181 to 190 grants BRAND NEW T6, and T7 Upkeep Cost Reduction Boosts! Keep in mind that Reduction is different from Efficiency, as Reduction will divide the costs.

For example, you have 20% Hero Medal Reduction, and one level requires 120,000 Hero Medals. A 20% Hero Medal Reduction would reduce the cost by 24,000, requiring that particular Hero level to require 96,000 Hero Medals.

Hero Level: 120,000 Hero Medals

20% Hero Medal Reduction

120,000 Hero Medals x .20 (20% Reduction in decimal form) = 24,000 Hero Medals

120,000 Hero Medals – 24,000 Hero Medals (from 20% reduction) = 96,000 Hero Medals after Reduction

*numbers and stats are at random and do not reflect real numbers or stats; this is purely an example of how Reduction works.

Upkeep Reduction and Troop Training Resource/Speedup Cost Efficiency

VIP 181 unlocks Upkeep Reduction (T6), Lv 11 Troop Training Resource, and Training Time Cost Efficiency. When VIP 186 arrives, Upkeep Reduction (T6) will stop and then opens up Upkeep Reduction (T7).

VIP 190 total:

  • 5% Upkeep Production (T6)
  • 10% Upkeep Production (T7)
  • 150% Lv 11 Troop Training Resource and Training Time Cost Efficiency.

Mercenary Promotion

VIP 181 to 190 presents you further Cost Efficiency of T7 Resources and Speed towards Mercenary Promotion, which can be extremely beneficial for you!

Maxing at VIP 190 grants you an additional 50% Mercenary Promotion Resource and Speedup Cost Efficiencies increase, totaling 150% overall.

Squad Skill Presets

Each Squad gains an extra two Squad Skill Presets except for Officer Cadet Hannibal.

  • Lieutenant Hannibal – VIP 181 and VIP 186
  • Captain Claire – VIP 183 as well as VIP 187
  • Commander Molotov – VIP 184 in addition to VIP 189
  • Major Melody – VIP 185 along with VIP 190

VIP 191 to 200

(March 22nd, 2021)

With VIP 196, you can unlock:

  • VIP Rally Queue
  • Rally Troop Mismatch Alert
  • VIP Queue Express

Leveling your VIP from 191 to 200 can grant you additional Upkeep Reductions for T6 and T7 Resources, Troop Training Cost Efficiency, as well as Mercenary Promotion cost.

There is no added Hero, or Squad presets from VIP 191 to 200.

VIP Rally Queue

When leading a Rally, the VIP Rally Queue allows your Alliance members to copy your Deployment configurations. In other words, when you click the VIP Queue button, it will instantly add troops in the same ratio and troop type as your Rally Lead’s Rally.

When your Rally Lead sets a Rally, click on Alliance War.

Alternatively, the pop-up Rally notification appears in the Alliance tab; you can see the “VIP Queue” option next to the “Time until Deployment” time on the War Rally screen.

VIP Queue

If you do not have the appropriate amount of troops, a pop-up notice will occur and ask you if you’d like to continue with however many troops you currently have.

This may affect the number of troops you would like to send out, such as not maximizing your deployment size. However, keep in mind that having a lower level to fill the remaining deployment size may affect the battle outcome in some cases.

Rally Troop Mismatch Alert

In your Rally, when sending troops (not using VIP Rally Queue) and you send Troops that do not match the Rally, the Rally Lead will get an alert notifying the wrong composition was sent.

This may not be beneficial in all scenarios since some players may need to send different troops intentionally to bolster the Rally Lead’s Rally. However, for the most part, it’s excellent to have when needing to pay extra close attention to proper troops being sent when a specific or in-depth component is requested.

When the Rally Lead sets a Rally and mistakenly sends the wrong troops, a mismatch alert will appear between the player and the timer. It takes for the march to make its way to the Rally boat.

Mismatch alert
