There are multiple avenues of the way we all play a war game. While some of us attack, defend, or trap, each strategy choice we make plays a prominent role in playing the game. It throws off the cycle without one strategic position and makes it challenging to play or select targets and even perform some events such as RvR, Control Point, Garrisons, etc.

However, electing the Equipment, Emblems, or the way we skill our Squad and Commanders allows us to lean towards the tactics we prefer. It keeps us testing and figuring out where our weaknesses are to improve our gameplay aside from spending.

Gear plays a function in our strategy. It is vital to be selective of the Set or pieces you use when attacking or defending to increase your opponent’s troop losses while also increasing your troop survivability.

As Vigilance Equipment is released, it assists defenders to take less extensive damage from oncoming attacks.

Vigilance /ˈvijələns/ – noun

  • the action or state of keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties

In this guide, we will cover:

  • Vigilance Equipment Set pieces
  • Upgrading Materials in addition to its cost
  • How does it compare to Glacial Equipment

Firstly, let’s review the Vigilance Equipment pieces and see how it assists our Base!

Vigilance Equipment Pieces

(May 12th, 2021)

The Vigilance Equipment set is tuned to assist your Base from oncoming battles granting various benefits such as Attack Deflection and Base Defending stats.

The stats below are at Legendary (level 6) unless otherwise noted.

Vigilance Valiant Visor

The Valiant Visor reduces your opponent’s attack deployment, provides Commander Molotov attack and other health benefits for your Base.

  • 150,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 200% Enemy Attack Deployment Speed Reduction
  • 250% Commander Molotov Attack

Vigilance Stabilizing Suit

The Stabilizing Suit presents more Armor, Counter Intelligence, in addition to Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection bonuses.

  • 170,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 100,000% Counter Intelligence
  • 100% Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection

Vigilance Speed Pistol

The Speed Pistol supplements further Attack when defending your Base and Attack Deflection.

  • 60,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 30,000% Attack Deflection

Vigilance Scoped Scouter

The Scoped Scouter grants various attacking benefits when defending.

  • 100,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 75,000% Attack Deflection
  • 750% Commander Molotov Attack

Vigilance Flash Wall

The Flash Wall Accessory provides your Base with extra Attack and Armor while also increasing Attack Deflection.

  • 30,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 50,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 15,000% Attack Deflection

90,000% Base Defending Troop Attack, 150,000% Base Defending Troop Armor, and 45,000% Attack Deflection when wearing all three Accessories.

Persistent Set Bonus

In the Weapons Lab, you will see a Persistent Set Bonuses section (1st tab). A Persistent Set Bonus is activated as soon as you acquire each of the Equipment Pieces in the Set required. The bonus will be confined by the lowest level piece you own. So if you have one Epic piece and the rest are Uncommon, you will get the Uncommon Set Bonus.

Keep in mind that you do not have to wear the Gear for the bonus to be active, as it is passive.

Vigilance Equipment Persistent Set Bonus:

  • 75,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 50,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 80,000% Base Defending Troop Armor

Set 5 and 7 Bonus

Collect and wear all the pieces at level 6 to acquire set bonuses.

Set 5 Bonus:

  • 25,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 15,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 25,000% Enemy Health Reduction
  • 100% Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection

Set 7 Bonus

  • 50,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 35,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 75,000% Enemy Health Reduction
  • 200% Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection

The Set 7 Bonus will apply additionally to the Set 5 Bonus.

Upgrading

Vigilance Upgrade

In the Weapons Lab, you can upgrade your Equipment Quality. Typically you would also be able to increase Set Leveling, but this particular Gear does not have any.

To upgrade your Vigilance Equipment Set, you will need materials from the Vigilance Equipment Set Materials Crate and Weapons Lab Isotope 233. These material crates can be found in events and the Gold Store.

Vigilance Materials

Each of the Vigilance Equipment pieces requires specific materials per level to reach the Legendary level.

Vigilance Valiant Visor:

  • Emergency Lights
  • Extended Magazine
  • Steadfast Stopwatch
  • Synthetic Leather

Vigilance Stabilizing Suit

  • Extended Magazine (2)
  • Silencer
  • Synthetic Leather

Vigilance Speed Pistol

  • Extended Magazine
  • Silencer
  • Steadfast Stopwatch
  • Varying Scope

Vigilance Scoped Scouter

  • Emergency Lights
  • Synthetic Leather
  • Varying Scope (2)

Vigilance Flash Wall*

  • Emergency Lights
  • Silencer
  • Synthetic Leather
  • Varying Scope

*Vigilance Flash Wall Material requirements are based on ONE Accessory; you will need 3xs the amount PER level for all three.

Do NOT upgrade the materials to level 6 as you need level 5 to complete the Legendary Set.

For example, to level your Vigilance Scoped Scouter from Rare to Super Rare, you will need:

  • 1,600 Weapon Lab Isotope 233
  • Level 3 Emergency Lights, Synthetic Leather, and two Varying Scope Materials

Next, check out the chart below to see how much Weapons Lab Isotope 233 you need to level your Equipment from Basic to Legendary.

*requirements are PER Equipment piece

How Does It Compare?

Last but not least, is this Equipment Set worth the time and effort to build up? How does it amount to the other Base Defending Equipment Sets?

We will use the previous Glacial Equipment Set to compare before examining the differences between the two, specifically the Helmet and Accessory at Legendary, then compare the Accessory at Super Rare for a more in-depth comparison.

Glacial Subzero Headwear vs. Vigilance Valiant Visor

Glacial Subzero Headwear:

  • 55,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 125% Enemy Attack Deployment Speed Reduction

Vigilance Valiant Visor:

  • 150,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 200% Enemy Attack Deployment Speed Reduction
  • 250% Commander Molotov Attack

The Visor not only provides Commander Molotov Attack, but it also grants additional:

  • 2.7x Base Defending Troop Health
  • 1.6x Enemy Attack Deployment Speed Reduction

Glacial Cryo-Grenade vs. Vigilance Flash Wall

We will compare the Accessories at Legendary, then at 3x Legendary since you’d typically wear three pieces. Afterward, we will compare Legendary Glacial Cryo-Grenade to Super Rare Vigilance Flash Wall to be more analytical.

Glacial Cryo-Grenade:

  • 5,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 20,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 5,000% Attack Deflection

Vigilance Flash Wall:

  • 30,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 50,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 15,000% Attack Deflection

3x Glacial Cryo-Grenade:

  • 15,000% Base Defending Troop Attack and Attack Deflection
  • 60,000% Base Defending Troop Armor

3x Vigilance Flash Wall:

  • 90,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 150,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 45,000% Attack Deflection

Level 4 Vigilance Flash Wall (Super Rare/Blue):

  • 11,250% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 18,870% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 5,625% Attack Deflection

As we can see above, the Vigilance Flash Wall Accessory outweighs the Glacial Cryo-Grenade.

In fact, the Vigilance Flash Wall contains:

  • 6x Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 2.5x Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 3x Attack Deflection

When comparing Legendary Cryo-Grenade to Super Rare Vigilance Flash Wall, we can indicate that it contains:

  • 2.25x Base Defending Troop Attack
  • -0.94x Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 1.125x Attack Deflection

We can generally see that the Vigilance Equipment set contains some additional features that the Glacial set did not possess and improvements in stats.
