Overview
Squads are a key and pivotal part of the game. They are essential in literally all of the aspects of the game, from the offense to defense, to most importantly, the CONTROL POINT! In this guide, we hope to help you grasp a better understanding of all of the squad members and what exactly they can do for you in the game!
What are Squad Members?
For all of our new friends! Squad members can be found in your Squad Command building on the bottom left of your Command Center screen! With the assistance of these squad members, you can add massive boosts to your march or for all of your traps out there, add extra boosts to your base itself!
The Breakdown
There are currently three types of squad members in World War Rising (we will not include Cadet as he has the same skills and LT). Your arsenal includes Lt. Hannibal, Clare, and the newest addition Molotov! The goal of this article is to show you the strengths and weaknesses of each and also to show you where they will best fit into your play style. What we are going to do is break them down into three different categories; Attack stats, Defense stats (to include health), and the Control Point!
Attack
Attacking is a huge part of World War Rising as it helps you to be able to burn down your enemies and capturing those heroes for the kill! What we will be covering in this section is everything to do with the attack! We will talk about the squad member attack boosts, troop attack boosts, armor-piercing, and a few other items as well in the table below:
Lt. Hannibal | Claire | Molotov | |
---|---|---|---|
Squad Member Attack | 700 | 2100 | 0 |
Troop Attack | 700 | 2000 | 0 |
Armor Piercing | 650 | 0 | 0 |
Attack Deployment Speed | 55 | 70 | 0 |
Mercenary Aircraft Attack | 0 | 9000 | 0 |
Attack Summary
Molotov: As you can see Molotov does not have any offensive stats as he is a purely defensive squad member so I do not suggest him as your first choice in the offensive.
Hannibal: However, when we look into Hannibal he has a decent amount of attack towards both the squad member as well as the troops showing that he could be utilized for the offensive. That on top of his armor-piercing could make him a candidate to help you with burning others!
Clare: With her insane amount of stats towards attack with the massive boost towards mercenary aircraft and also her combination of troop attack and squad member attack make her your best candidate for the offensive!
Defense
While it is always fun to burn your enemies to the ground, it is also important to make sure that you don’t get burned in the process! So in this part of the article, we will be comparing all of the different defensive aspects to help you become indestructible. We will be going over Squad member armor, troop armor, base defense, counterintelligence, and a few other items to help you be able to compare them!
Lt. Hannibal | Claire | Molotov | |
---|---|---|---|
Squad Member Armor | 6000 | 2300 | 15000 |
Troop Armor | 600 | 350 | 10000 |
Base Defending Troop Armor | 0 | 0 | 18,000 |
Base Defending Health | 0 | 0 | 5000 |
Base Defending Troop Attack | 0 | 0 | 6,000 |
Mercenary Aircraft Armor | 0 | 5000 | 0 |
Enemy Attack Speed Reduction | 50% | 0 | 0 |
Counter Intelligence | 0 | 0 | 5500 |
Enemy Health Reduction | 0 | 0 | 3000 |
Attack Deflection | 0 | 0 | 3000 |
Squad Member Health Bonus | 50 | 0 | 250 |
HP regen speed | 55 | 0 | 0 |
Defense Summary
Molotov: Defensively speaking as you can see, this is where Molotov truly shines! With his out of this world base defending stats, on top of his attack deflection, counterintelligence, and Health reduction he is going to be your all-star for defense!
Hannibal: Hannibal offers the second-largest amount of Squad member armor and troop armor compared to Molotov as well as the 50% health boost and regen speed makes him a good alternative for defense if you do not have Molotov unlocked or leveled up enough to make a difference!
Clare: Clare is at the bottom when it comes to armor boost towards herself and troops but makes it up with her 5000% mercenary aircraft armor boost! However, with that being her only large armor boost, I would not suggest utilizing her as your defensive hero in any scenario.
Control Point
This right here is for all of my rally leaders and Control Point warriors! This part of the article will dig into the control point and all of the boosts that are provided by your squad members to help you to gain even more of an edge against your opponents!
Lt. Hannibal | Claire | Molotov | |
---|---|---|---|
Enemy Control Point Speed Reduction | 50 | 0 | 0 |
Control Point Defending Troop Attack | 0 | 0 | 3000 |
Control Point Defending Troop Health | 0 | 0 | 5000 |
Control Point Defending Troop Armor | 0 | 0 | 15000 |
Control Point Summary
Molotov: As you can see from the table, Molotov is going to be your OP defensive hero when it comes to the Control Point, however, with his non-existent offensive stats I would not suggest using him in your attacking march towards the Control Point.
Hannibal: Hannibal does not have any attributes specifically towards the Control Point, however, when you see the above and the amount of armor and attack boosts for troops as well as his high armor towards himself, he could be used for Control Point defense and even possibly as an attack element if necessary.
Clare: Clare also doesn’t have any attributes specifically towards Control Point, but with her very high amount of attack attributes she will be your best bet regarding attacking the control point but not great as a defensive squad member. However, with her aircraft boosts she could be utilized if your lowest tier in the control point happens to be aircraft as well.
Now that we have completed the comparison of all of the squad members I hope that this helps you understand all of the strengths and weaknesses of all of the Squad members and how to use them in their specific areas of expertise!
