There are multiple avenues of the way we all play a war game. While some of us attack, defend, or trap, each strategy choice we make plays a role in playing the game. It throws off the cycle without one strategic position and makes it challenging to play or select targets and even perform events such as RvR, Control Point, etc.

However, selecting the Equipment, Emblems, or the way we skill our Squad allows us to lean towards our preferred tactics. It keeps us testing and figuring out our weaknesses to improve our gameplay aside from spending.

Gear plays a significant role in our strategy. It is vital to be selective of the Set or pieces you use when attacking or defending to increase your opponent’s troop losses while also increasing your troop survivability.

As Resolute Equipment is released, it assists defenders to take less extensive damage from oncoming attacks.

In this guide, we will cover:

  • Resolute Equipment Set pieces
  • Materials needed to upgrade your gear
  • How does it compare to Vigilance Equipment

Firstly, let’s review the Resolute Equipment pieces and see how it benefits your Hero defensively!

Resolute Equipment Pieces

(December 15th, 2021)

The Resolute Equipment set is tuned to assist your Base from oncoming battles granting various benefits such as Attack Deflection and Base Defending stats.

The stats below are at Legendary (level 6) unless otherwise noted.

Resolute Helm of the Deep

The Helm increases your Troop Health and Molotov Armor Bonuses while reducing your enemy’s attack deployment.

  • 1,300,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 1,200% Enemy Attack Deployment Speed Reduction
  • 720,000% Commander Molotov Armor Bonus

YES, 720,000% Commander Molotov Armor, the last defense equipment set only contained 500% Commander Molotov Attack!

Resolute Sea Suit

The Body Armor piece provides further Troop Armor along with Counter Intelligence and Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection.

  • 1,188,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 1,060,000% Counter Intelligence
  • 400% Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection

Resolute Shark Shanker

This Weapon raises your Troop Attack and Attack Deflection.

  • 480,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 254,000% Attack Deflection

Resolute Piranha Pincer

Like the Shark Shanker, the Piranga Pincer also grants Troop Attack and Attack Deflection bonuses.

  • 768,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 635,000% Attack Deflection

Resolute Diver’s Detonator

The Resolute Diver’s Detonator Accessory boosts your Hero with additional Troop Attack and Armor while also providing more Attack Deflection.

  • 224,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 324,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 127,000% Attack Deflection

When using three Accessories:

  • 672,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 972,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 381,000% Attack Deflection

Persistent Set Bonus

In the Weapons Lab, you will see a Persistent Set Bonuses section (1st tab). A Persistent Set Bonus is activated as soon as you acquire each of the Equipment Pieces in the Set required. The bonus will be confined to the lowest level piece you own. So if you have one Epic piece and the rest are Uncommon, you will get the Uncommon Set Bonus.

Remember that you do not have to wear the Gear for the bonus to be active, as it is passive.

Resolute Equipment Persistent Set Bonus:

  • 576,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 432,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 540,000% Base Defending Troop Armor

Set 5 and 7 Bonus

Collect and wear all the pieces at level 6 to acquire set bonuses.

Set 5 Bonus:

  • 192,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 144,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 180,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 350,000% Counter Intelligence
  • 400% Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection

Set 7 Bonus:

  • 384,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 288,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 360,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 710,000% Counter Intelligence
  • 800% Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection

The Set 7 Bonus will apply additionally to the Set 5 Bonus.

Upgrading

Resoulte Materials

In the Weapons Lab, you can upgrade your Equipment Quality. Typically you would also increase Set Leveling, but this particular Gear does not have any.

To upgrade your Vigilance Equipment Set, you need materials from the Resolute Equipment Set Materials Crate and Weapons Lab Isotope 233. These material crates can be found in events and the Gold Store.

How Does it Compare?

Last but not least, is this Equipment Set worth the time and effort to build up? How does it amount to the other Base Defending Equipment Sets?

We will use the previous Vigilance Equipment Set to compare before examining the differences between the two, specifically the Helmet, Body Armor, and primary Weapon.

Then we will break down the Accessories from the two Vigilance releases for a more in-depth comparison.

Note: Comparisons below do NOT include Vigilance Equipment Set Leveling.

Vigilance Valiant Visor vs. Resolute Helm of the Deep

Vigilance Valiant Visor

  • 150,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 200% Enemy Attack Deployment Speed Reduction
  • 250% Commander Molotov Attack

Resolute Helm of the Deep

  • 1,300,000% Base Defending Troop Health
  • 1,200% Enemy Attack Deployment Speed Reduction
  • 720,000% Commander Molotov Armor Bonus

Not only does the Resolute Helmet provide a staggering 720,000% Commander Molotov Armor bonuses, but it also grants additional:

  • 6x Enemy Attack Deployment Speed Reduction
  • 8.67x Base Defending Troop Health

While the Helm of the Deep does not have Commander Molotov Attack stats, we can all agree that the Molotov Armor stats more than makes up for the loss!

Vigilance Stabilizing Suit vs. Resolute Sea Suit

Vigilance Stabilizing Suit

  • 170,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 100,000% Counter Intelligence
  • 100% Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection

Resolute Sea Suit

  • 1,188,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 1,060,000% Counter Intelligence
  • 400% Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection

The Resolute Sea Suit provides your Hero with additional:

  • 6.99x Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 10.6x Counter Intelligence
  • 4x Anti-Squad Member Attack Deflection

Vigilance Speed Pistol vs. Resolute Shark Shanker

Vigilance Speed Pistol

  • 60,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 30,000% Attack Deflection

Resolute Shark Shanker

  • 480,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 254,000% Attack Deflection

The Resolute Shark Shanker overpowers the Vigilance Speed Pistol by:

  • 8x Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 8.5x Attack Deflection

Vigilance Flash Wall and Shield of Surveillance vs. Resolute Diver’s Detonator

Vigilance Flash Wall

  • 30,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 50,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 15,000% Attack Deflection

Using three Flash Wall’s

  • 90,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 150,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 45,000% Attack Deflection

Vigilance Shield of Surveillance

  • 75,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 125,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 37,500% Attack Deflection
  • 100,000% Counter Intelligence

Using three Vigilance Shield of Surveillance’s

  • 225,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 375,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 112,500% Attack Deflection
  • 300,000% Counter Intelligence

Resolute Diver’s Detonator

  • 224,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 324,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 127,000% Attack Deflection

Using three Diver’s Detonator

  • 672,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
  • 972,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • 381,000% Attack Deflection

As we can see from the above comparisons, one Resolute Diver’s Detonator already contains more Base Defending Troop Armor and Attack Deflection than three Vigilance Shield of Surveillance combined.

While it does not have more Base Defending Troop Attack, it only is by about 1,000% by one Accessory versus three, so it easily contains 447,000% more when using all three Resolute Diver’s Detonators.

While it also does not have additional Counter Intelligence, the rest of the Resolute Equipment pieces make up for it.

For example, the Resolute Sea Suit alone has 1,060,000% Counter Intelligence. That’s over 2.5x the Counter Intelligence than the Vigilance Equipment Set combined, and that was including the Vigilance Equipment Set Bonus!
