Firstly, let’s break down the Mountaineer Equipment pieces before comparing them to the Galaxy Equipment Set.

Mountaineer Equipment Pieces

(September 9th, 2021)

The Mountaineer Equipment set is designed to boost your Hero when hitting Syndicate Targets and provides set bonuses to inflict more damage on Syndicate Outposts.

The stats below represent the Legendary level unless otherwise noted.

Mountaineer Dome Crest

The Helmet benefits your Hero when looting Tiles as well as increasing your Stamina Bar.

  • 150% Loot Capacity
  • 2% Hero Speed
  • 750% Hero Attack
  • 10,000 Maximum Hero Stamina
  • 25% Resource Gathering Speed
  • 03:20 Resource Gathering Peace Shield

Mountaineer Alpine Ascent

The Body Armor continues to provide looting in addition to Stamina benefits.

  • 750% Hero Attack vs. Raid Boss
  • 10,000 Maximum Hero Stamina
  • 20% Resource Gathering Speed
  • 03:26:40 Resource Fathering Peace Shield

Mountaineer Summit Shot

This particular Weapon focuses more on delivering damage upon the Syndicate Targets and Raid Bosses.

  • 100% Loot Capacity
  • 1% Hero Speed
  • 500% Hero Attack in addition to Hero Attack vs. Raid Boss
  • 5,000 Maximum Hero Stamina

Mountaineer Ridge Rifle

The secondary Weapon continues to provide supplementary benefits similar to the other pieces above.

  • 500% Hero Attack along with Hero Attack vs. Raid Boss
  • 10,000 Maximum Hero Stamina
  • 5% Resource Gathering Speed

Mountaineer Climbing Harness

The Mountaineer Harness Accessory is more focused on Syndicate Targets in addition to Raid Bosses.

  • 250% Hero Attack as well as Hero Attack vs. Raid Boss
  • 5,000 Maximum Hero Stamina
  • 02:46:40 Resource Gathering Peace Shield

When using all three Mountaineer Climbing Harness Accessories:

  • 750% Hero Attack and Hero Attack vs. Raid Boss
  • 15,000 Maximum Hero Stamina
  • 08:20:00 Resource Gathering Peace Shield

Persistent Set Bonus

In the Weapons Lab, you will see a Persistent Set Bonuses section (1st tab). A Persistent Set Bonus is activated as soon as you acquire each of the Equipment Pieces in the Set required. The bonus will be confined to the lowest level piece you own. So if you have one Epic piece and the rest are Uncommon, you will get the Uncommon Set Bonus.

Keep in mind that you do not have to wear the Gear for the bonus to be active, as it is passive.

The Persistent Set Bonus stats below are at the Legendary level.

Mountaineer Equipment Persistent Set Bonus:

  • 300,000% Syndicate Outpost Attacking Troop Health
  • 400,000% Syndicate Outpost Attacking Troop Attack
  • 500,000% Syndicate Outpost Attacking Troop Armor
  • 50% Syndicate Outpost Attacking Deployment Speed

Set 5 and 7 Bonus

Collect and wear all the pieces at level 6 to acquire the Deliverance Equipment set bonuses.

Set 5 bonus:

  • 20% Resource Gathering Speed

Set 7 bonus:

  • 30% Resource Gathering Speed

The Set 7 Bonus will apply additionally to the Set 5 Bonus.

Upgrading

In the Weapons Lab, you can upgrade your Equipment Quality. Typically you would also increase Set Leveling, but this particular Gear does not have any.

To upgrade your Mountaineer Equipment Set, you need materials from the Mountaineer Equipment Set Materials Crate and Weapons Lab Isotope 233. These material crates can be found in events in addition to the Gold Store.

Mountaineer Materials

Mountaineer Materials

Each of the Deliverance Equipment pieces requires specific materials per level to reach the Legendary level.

Mountaineer Dome Crest

  • Climbing Shoe Sole
  • Headlamp
  • Mountaineer Camo
  • Pressure Gauge

Mountaineer Alpine Ascent

  • Mountaineer Camo
  • 2x Pressure Gauge
  • Wooden Rifle Stock

Mountaineer Summit Shot

  • Climbing Shoe Sole
  • Muzzle Barrel
  • Pressure Gauge
  • Wooden Rifle Stock

Mountaineer Ridge Rifle

  • Headlamp
  • Mountaineer Camo
  • 2x Muzzle Barrel

Mountaineer Climbing Harness

  • Headlamp
  • Mountaineer Camo
  • Muzzle Barrel
  • Wooden Rifle Stock

*Mountaineer Climbing Harness Material requirements are based on ONE Accessory; you will need 3xs the amount PER level for all three.

Do NOT upgrade the materials to level 6 as you need level 5 to complete the Legendary Set.

For example, to level your Mountaineer Ridge Rifle from Rare to Super Rare, you will need:

  • ??? Weapon Lab Isotope 233
  • Level 3 Headlamp, Mountaineer Camo, and 2 Muzzle Barrels

Weapon Lab Isotopes Chart will be updated soon!

Next, check out the chart below to see how much Weapons Lab Isotope 233 you need to level your Equipment from Basic to Legendary.

Upgrading Chart

Stay tuned; this section will be updated soon!

How Does It Compare?

Last but not least, is this Equipment Set worth the time and effort to build up? How does it amount to the other Stamina-related Equipment Sets?

We will use the previous Galaxy Equipment Set to compare before examining the differences between the two, specifically the Accessory at Legendary, then compare the Accessory at lower levels for a more in-depth comparison.

The stats below are Legendary unless otherwise noted.

Galaxy C-0 Propulsion Unit vs. Mountaineer Climbing Harness

Galaxy C-0 Propulsion Unit

  • 5,000 Maximum Hero Stamina

Mountaineer Climbing Harness

  • 250% Hero Attack as well as Hero Attack vs. Raid Boss
  • 5,000 Maximum Hero Stamina
  • 02:46:40 Resource Gathering Peace Shield

While both of the Accessories have the same amount of Stamina at the Legendary level, the Mountaineer Climbing Harness additionally contains Hero Attack, Resource Gathering Peace Shield, along with the Hero Attack vs. Raid Boss.

Galaxy Hydraulic Speargun vs. Mountaineer Ridge Rifle

Galaxy Hydraulic Speargun

  • 300% Hero Speed
  • 800% Hero Attack

Mountaineer Ridge Rifle

  • 1% Hero Speed
  • 500% Hero Attack and Hero Attack vs. Raid Boss
  • 10,000 Maximum Hero Stamina
  • 5% Resource Gathering Speed

The Speargun may contain more Hero Attack and Hero Speed. However, the Ridge Rifle does have an additional 10,000 Stamina.

When comparing other pieces, both of the Galaxy Weapons do not contain any Stamina. In contrast, the Mountaineer Summit Shot includes 5,000 Stamina, and the Mountaineer Ridge Rifle has 10,000, which makes up for the 15,000 the Galaxy Space Suit has and then some.

The Galaxy Equipment set (including three accessories) grants 40,000 Stamina, while the Mountaineer Equipment set gives you 50,000 cumulatively when using all three accessories.

Since there are no Equipment Set Bonuses on either gear, you could mix and match the pieces to increase your Stamina Bar when leveling your Heroes while leveling your gear until you get to the goal you want to achieve.
