Are you getting the most out of your Hero?

Are you using Riggs to the best of his abilities?

You have been in the trenches for a long time now General.  Every day your battle knowledge and situational awareness improve.  Today we are going to recap the importance of skilling your Hero’s for maximum result.  It’s time to play “Smart” not “Hard.”

Please remember when “Skilling” a Hero, it is best to place the minimum amount of Skill Points in a node before using all of your points.  This is known as “Back Filling” or Skilling from Bottom to Top. Your objective is to open up the entire skill tree and then add points where you need them for the task at hand.

Exclusive Riggs Skills

Construction Skill Node

As you advance through WWR, your buildings will be required to level with you.  When you grow in power, each building becomes increasingly more advanced in production, capacity, and benefits. Subsequently, each level also increases in resource requirements and building time.

Research Skill Node

The Research Skill Node is meant to reduce your Research Requirements. Research Requirements increase with each new level of your Research Facility and the further you progress through Research Trees.

Troop Production

Without your troops General, nothing happens.  We use troops for attack, defense, reinforcements, rallying and gathering.  Troops are also the foundation for scoring and a vital measurement of your success on the battlefield. Skilling Riggs correctly, using available gear and training boosts are key to saving you valuable time for troop creation.

These three Skill Nodes are exclusive to Riggs and are important in saving you time and money.  Our recommendation General is to Reskill before you perform any of these tasks.

Pro Tip: Staying on a budget is important to your long term success, you want to “work” each and every day on base development, keeping timers running, completing missions and competing in challenges. I strive for a minimum of Tier 2 in daily challenges and I time my skilling and pack purchases around challenges or events in order to maximize rewards earned.  The game is a marathon, not a race.

Riggs Base Development Skill Card

The following chart is based on Riggs Level 100 and represents “Build Mode”.  If you do not have a solid defense, I recommend using a 1 hour Shield ( or more) while reskilling and remaining in Build Mode.  If not, you will burn.

Battle Side (Level) Skill Points Production Side (Level) Skill Points
Hero Attack (2) 5 Quarry Production (2) 3
Construction Speed (21) 797
Infantry Attack (3) 11 Mine Shaft (3) 6
Artillery Attack (3) 7 Farm Production (3) 6
Troop Training Speed (21) 1076
Vehicle Attack (4) 11 Lumber Mill Production (4) 9
Research Speed (21) 1283

**After adding two Riggs Mastery packs to my base, I have 1,870 Skill Points left to use.

If I am on a Pack Spree and want to practice good defense, I do the following:

  • Change weapon to Thompson (Troop Training 9% Reduction)
  • Change Helmet to Cerberus
  • Change Body Armor to Cerberus
  • The rest of my gear is Flamethrower
  • With the additions of Ornate Parade Gear and Winter Combat gear, you will want to incorporate these new Gear Pieces for additional savings on all Research and Building.  At the time of this writing, I have not invested in these new gear sets yet.

“Why should I go through all of this trouble?  These damn skill resets cost me 15,000 gold every time I change skills!  Dude, this is a PITA for me!”

Great question and concern General! You are right! It’s a PITA.  If you have money to burn and your time is extremely valuable, by all means, set your Hero up for Max Attack and forget about it.

But for the rest of us mere mortals who require “Sweat Equity” and are frequently battling with the level of available resources in our bank accounts, spending 15k gold and saving Days and Hours worth of Speed Ups is critical!

Riggs is your go-to hero, he is the foundation of your base development.  Using him properly will save you time and money.

The following information and Skill Cards are my suggestions on how to use Riggs for Attacks, Defense and Rally Fills / Reinforcement.  Each mode will require a Skill Reset, spending 15k gold or using a Hero Skill Reset Item. I will Reskill my Hero’s multiple times throughout my gameplay, daily.

Riggs Attack / Defend Skill Card

Battle Side (Level) Skill Points Special Skills Skill Points Production Side (Level) Skill Points
Hero Attack (2) 5 Quarry Production (2) 3
Construction Speed (0)
Infantry Attack (6) 22 Mine Shaft (3) 6
Artillery Attack (8) 43 Farm Production (3) 6
Troop Training Speed (0)
Vehicle Attack (8) 43 Lumber Mill Production (4) 9
Research Speed (0)
Troop Health (5) Upkeep Efficiency (5)
Deployment Capacity (1) 124
Troop Type Armor (5) 313 Rally Capacity (1) 108 Hero Critical Attack
Troop Type Attack (21) 3333 Hero Stamina Recovery
Deployment Mastery 1000

Note the Infantry, Artillery and Vehicle Troop Type Nodes.  If you wanted to “Specialize”, these points can be redistributed to One Troop Type.  Infantry hits pretty hard, so I boosted Artillery and Vehicles with points left over.

Riggs Rally Fill Skill Card

Battle Side (Level) Skill Points Special Skills Skill Points Production Side (Level) Skill Points
Hero Attack (2) 5 Quarry Production (2) 3
Construction Speed (0)
Infantry Attack (3) 11 Mine Shaft (3) 6
Artillery Attack (3) 7 Farm Production (3) 6
Troop Training Speed (0)
Vehicle Attack (4) 11 Lumber Mill Production (4) 9

Deployment Capacity (8) 2241
Troop Type Armor (5) 313 Rally Capacity (1) 108 Hero Critical Attack
Troop Type Attack (12) 1237 Hero Stamina Recovery
Deployment Mastery 1000

This Skill Card Provides for Max Rally Filling with a decent level of Armor and Troop Attack in order to fend off any Solo Attacks or Counter Rallys.

Riggs Mastery Skill Tree

Mastery Skills count for EVERY Hero.  When you unlock Mastery you want to follow the same guideline we provided above.  Always use minimal skills in order to open up each Node until you reach the bottom of the Skill Tree.  This is vitally important in the Mastery Skill Trees. As of this writing, Mastery Skill Resets are not available.  THAT MEANS YOU GET ONE SHOT TO GET IT RIGHT. Below is an Example Riggs Mastery Skill Tree created from purchasing One Riggs Mastery Pack and One Riggs Mastery “Thank you Pack” for a total of 500 Mastery Skill Points.

Construction Level 2
Quarry Production Level 1 Transporter Attack Level 0 Mine Shaft Production Level 1
Hero Attack Level 1 Transporter Health Level 0 Hero Critical Attack Level 1
Farm Production Level 1 Trainable Semi Centaurus Level 0 Lumber Mill Production Level 1
Hero Stamina Recovery Level 5
Deployments Level 1
Deployment Capacity Level 4 Rally Capacity Level 4
Troop Type Attack & Health Level 8

As you can see, Skilling takes practice and patience.  I would encourage you to create your own Hero Skill Tree combinations.  Our game developers gave us all of the tools we need for success. It is up to you General to light the fires, we will continue to supply you with the matches!

My hope is to help every player get the most out their game experience at any level.  I am looking forward to hearing how you use your heroes and the “Skill” you bring to your gameplay.

Report back often for more Intelligence Generals! I wish you great success on the battlefield!
