General, it is time for you to dress for success. Wearing the appropriate gear can make all the difference when charging the control point, attacking the syndicate boss or leading your alliance in a rally against your rivals.
Enter the Weapons Lab. Every general’s goal is to achieve legendary status throughout the region, using the right combinations of “Legendary” gear (gold) will help you to achieve that goal. The Weapons Lab will allow you to increase your gear to the next level using materials gathered on the game map. Below is a chart describing each new level and the Weapons Lab architectural plans required to get there:
Weapons Lab Level 1 | Use Common Materials (Grey) and Upgrade Gear to Uncommon (White) | |
Weapons Lab Level 2 | Use Uncommon Materials (White) and Upgrade Gear to Rare (Green) | Weapons Lab Architectural Plans: 50 |
Weapons Lab Level 3 | Use Rare Materials (Green) and Upgrade Gear to Super Rare (Blue) | Weapons Lab Architectural Plans: 200 |
Weapons Lab Level 4 | Use Super Rare Materials (Blue) and Upgrade Gear to Ultra Rare (Purple) | Weapons Lab Architectural Plans: 400 |
Weapons Lab Level 5 | Use Ultra Rare Materials (Purple) and Upgrade Gear to Legendary (Gold) | Weapons Lab Architectural Plans: 3,200 |
Maintaining your gear at the highest levels will ensure your hero and troops have the boosts they need in order to maximize every aspect of the game.
Current Game Play and Required Gear Sets
- Syndicate and Boss Attacks: Paratrooper Gear
- Defending Your Base or the Control Point: Cerberus Gear
- Attacking Bases or the Control Point: Flame Thrower Gear
- Building: Winter Combat Gear
- Research: Ornate Parade Gear
Lets review Flame Thrower Gear Stats:
Currently, Flame Thrower is the highest level attack gear. When you are engaging enemy bases through solo or rally attacks, using Flame Thrower gear will provide Troop Attack Boost, Attack Deployment Speed Boost, Troop Armor and Troop Health.
Anyone of these items can mean the difference between success and failure, let’s compare:
Gear: Flame Thrower |
Ultra Rare |
Legendary |
Weapon |
Troop Attack 89% |
113% |
Sidearm |
Troop Attack 44% Troop Armor 19% Atk Deploy Speed 28% |
56% 24% 35% |
Uniform |
Troop Attack 23% Troop Armor 72% Atk Deploy Speed 17% |

As you can see there are significant differences between Ultra Rare (purple) and Legendary (gold). In the above example, you would need Weapons Lab Level 5 in order to upgrade existing Ultra Rare Gear.
“What’s the Big Deal? Why should I spend money on Weapons Lab when I can continue to gather materials and eventually make all New Legendary Gear?”
That is a great question General! The short answer is time.
Every team member and every opponent you have in WWR is fighting against the clock. Everyone is seeking an “advantage.” You have already made a significant investment in your current gear. Without the Weapons Lab, in order for you to achieve Legendary gear, you will need to gather and combine all materials to Legendary status in order to craft Legendary Gear. With the Weapons Lab, you can upgrade existing gear using existing materials. Ultimately saving you valuable time and allowing you to focus on other building or research requirements.
Remember, good generals get things done, GREAT generals do it with skill and intelligence. As the game progresses new gear will arrive, the race for dominance will continue. You will require every competitive edge available in order to seize victory, the Weapons Lab is a tool that will provide that additional “Time” needed to push forward. Your objective is to make wise use of the time you have, you literally need to be able to work SMARTER, not HARDER. Utilizing the Weapons Lab to jump from Ultra Rare to Legendary could mean all the difference in winning the next rally or resetting the control point.
Pro Tip: To get the most out of your Weapons Lab you will need VIP 10 or better. At VIP 10 you unlock the “Combine to Target Level” ability. Here is an important shortcut:
- Open Weapons Lab click Upgrade Equipment Quality
- Choose a piece of gear to upgrade
- Review the Material List needed to upgrade your gear
- Hit back arrow or base view
- Click on Armory
- Click Combine
- Click on Materials
- Scroll to the materials needed for the Weapons Lab Upgrade
- Click the lowest level of material you are able to combine
- Click “Master Combine”
- Now choose the same level needed in the Weapons Lab*
- Return to the Weapons Lab and Upgrade your gear
*In our chart we reviewed Ultra Rare. In the above example, I would combine all materials needed to Ultra Rare only.
Take Advantage:
Weapons Lab provides a clear advantage versus traditional gathering or pack purchases. Through Weapons Lab you know exactly what materials are needed and how much is needed in order to achieve the next level for your gear.
Still not convinced? If this is your first game some of this advice will be very helpful. To all of our “Battle Hardened” Game Vets out there this information may be considered basic at best. But don’t be fooled generals. The Weapons Lab will continue to grow in importance.
Classified FYEO:
Weapons Lab will prove to be an invaluable resource to all throughout WWR. Future Weapons Labs upgrades will provide; Set Gear Bonuses and Legendary Gear Enhancements. Making the Weapons Lab an integral part of base development and battle success.
That’s right generals, the Weapons Lab will grow in importance as you grow in power. Including the Weapons Lab in your budget for base development will become necessary for your future success. You must be prepared for anything that comes your way.
Your Weapons Lab training is done for now General. It is time for you to raise your sights to victory, your troops deserve a Hero that can provide the extra boost of confidence and power needed while attacking your foes. It is time for you to become Legendary, gear up General!
I’m in a new region (silicon) and it takes 800 architectural plans to get to lvl 4. Not sure if yours is a typo or the developers changed it, but thought you’d want to know.
