It’s time for our monthly Player Profile! This February we sit down to have a chat with (.OP.) x Volman x of Region 79.
WWR Command: Good Morning Volman, tell us about yourself a bit.
(.OP.) x Volman x: “I began playing MZ games with Game of War. I was frustrated with the lack of information sharing I encountered while trying to learn, so I set out to create an alliance that was predicated on knowledge sharing and helping each other out. I was fortunate to have some great teachers like SableDog, who were very patient with a young and dumb me.”
WWR Command: Tell us about your account.
(.OP.) x Volman x: “Currently my Xira is at level 86, power is 82.5 million, with a VIP of 27. My alliance is over 2 billion power and growing every day.
WWR Command: Why did you start playing World War Rising?
(.OP.) x Volman x: “I found that I missed playing Game of War, but didn’t want to get back into it because I didn’t like the direction the game was heading when I quit a couple years ago. I was talking with a friend, K A T S, and she suggested trying WWR.”
WWR Command: How much time do you spend on the game?
(.OP.) x Volman x: “I probably spend 6+ hours a day in-game.”
WWR Command: What is your favorite thing about the game?
(.OP.) x Volman x: “I love the social aspect of helping and teaching others so that we all become better players and are harder to burn. That includes some outside my alliance.”
WWR Command: What is something you’d like to see changed?
(.OP.) x Volman x: “I would like to see some sort of credit for time spent in the game being a factor of VIP Level. I know plenty of people who work hard at the game, yet don’t get the VIP rewards.”
WWR Command: Do you have a favorite battle report?
(.OP.) x Volman x: “Yes, it was the last battle South and I had for the Region 79 Control Point.”
WWR Command: What tips would you give to new players?
(.OP.) x Volman x: “Power is just a number, a balanced build is far more important. I advise my people to stop every 5 Command Center levels, and bring all their non-RSS producing buildings and Power Plant(s) up to the same level as their Command Center.”
WWR Command: What tips would you give to Offensive players?
(.OP.) x Volman x: “Experiment. Troops are made to die, so find new ways of attack with troops, skill and gear mixes to find out on your own what’s most effective.”
WWR Command: Which is your favorite Hero and why?
(.OP.) x Volman x: “My favorite Hero is Riggs. I love the versatility he provides. We could build our bases with Xira, but it’s a lot more expensive to build one without Riggs.”
