Emblems add needed stat boosts (and a little flair) to your equipment. There are Emblems for many types of boosts. Let’s take a look at what they are, and the best way to use them.

What are Emblems?

Emblems are embedded in gear pieces to enhance their characteristics and add additional desired boosts. Up to three Emblems can be embedded into each gear piece. Once set, they can only be removed with an Emblem Saver or Loyalty (or VIP 12), so choose carefully.

Where do I find Emblems?

Emblems live in the Armory. Here you can combine them and look at the ones you already own.

Combining Emblems

One of the biggest mistakes players can make is combining all Emblems to their highest level. Do not do this until you have enough of an Emblem type to still have one of the lower level in each gear. Why? Let’s look at an example;

Scenario 1

In this scenario, you have 5 Level 4 Defense Emblems in your gear. This totals 95% defense. Then you decide to combine four of those Emblems into a Level 5.

Scenario 2

With 1 Level 4 and 1 Level 5 Defense Emblem you now have dropped to 60% Defense.

Wait until you have enough Emblems to keep the lower ones in your Equipment before combining. 10 is a good amount, as it will give you one of the next level, and you can keep the other 5 embedded (assuming you have six equipment slots).

Emblem Stats

Below are the maximum boosts for the currently available Emblems. Use this to determine when combining is right for you, or what you have to look forward to as you progress.

Using Emblems

As mentioned above, removing Emblems must be done with an Emblem Remover or gold. However, VIP 12 also allows for free removal, which is great when you want to customize on the fly.

For those under VIP 12, carefully choose your Emblems. Match them with your gear and strongest boost level. For those defending, compliment what you need the most. For example, if you need more attack, add some attack gems. Many players make the mistake of adding Heroic Gems thinking it applies to the entire base. These only affect your Wall Defenses, so keep that in mind.

Those players over VIP 12, you can take advantage of the opportunity to change your gems with every hit if needed. Hitting with a vehicle? Add vehicle gems. Then using Artillery? Swap them out! Using Merc Aircraft? Swap again! Losing too much of your march? Valor gems are your friends.

A note on using Carbon Copy and Stealth Emblems. The level of the Emblem designates what you can duplicate or hide. For example, if you have a level 2 Carbon Copy Emblem, you can only affix multiple Level 2 Emblems in the first three slots. If you have a Level 3 Stealth Emblem, you can only hide green gear, etc.

Emblem Set Bonuses

Starting at Base level 65 you can complete Emblem Set Research and take advantage of specific Emblem Set Bonuses. You must equip specific Emblems together to get these bonuses, and they stack with the Emblem’s own boosts. Emblems must be Level 6. The current available Emblem Sets are;

  • Base Attack Specialist Emblem Set: Assault Emblem, Blitz Emblem, Crossfire Emblem, and Defiant Emblem.
    • 2,000% Base Attacking Troop Attack
    • 1,000% Base Attacking Troop Health
    • 2,000% Base Attacking Troop Armor
  • Base Defense Specialist Emblem Set: Steel Emblem, Lugnut Emblem, Serve Emblem, Grease Emblem.
    • 2,000% Base Defending Troop Attack
    • 1,000% Base Defending Troop Health
    • 2,000% Base Defending Troop Armor
  • Control Point Attack Specialist Emblem Set: Intrepid Emblem, Stampede Emblem, Bulwark Emblem, Extreme Emblem.
    • 2,000% Control Point Attacking Troop Attack
    • 1,000% Control Point Attacking Troop Health
    • 2,000% Control Point Attacking Troop Armor
  • Control Point Defense Specialist Emblem Set: Munition Emblem, Ward Emblem, Security Emblem, Protection Emblem.
    • 2,000% Control Point Defending Troop Attack
    • 1,000% Control Point Defending Troop Health
    • 2,000% Control Point Defending Troop Armor
  • Killer Hero Emblem Set: Axe Emblem, Sniper Emblem, Convoy Emblem, Ordinance Emblem
    • 50% Hero Attack
    • +900 Maximum Hero Stamina

Emblems jazz up your Equipment and add some serious boosts to your stats. Adding in the Emblem Sets makes them even stronger. Be sure to embed them appropriately and don’t just pick them because you like the colors…use them wisely!
