The Serum Lab has come to World War Rising, familiar to many of you as the same concept as the Potions Lab from GOW and Ignis’ Diner from FFXV. The overall mechanics are the same, but let’s take a look at what it is and how you can use the Lab to benefit your Base.

What is the Serum Lab?

The Lab is building where you can create temporary boosts to benefit your account. Using your Vials and Serum, you craft Serums using only the items with the stats you want. Depending on the level, one Vial and up to 6 Ingredients can be utilized. Each Serum is timed, and the duration is based on Lab level, up to 9 hours.

  • Serum Lab Level 1: 1 Ingredient Slot, Duration 1 Hour
  • Serum Lab Level 2: 2 Ingredient Slots, Duration 2 Hours
  • Serum Lab Level 3: 3 Ingredient Slots, Duration 3 Hours
  • Serum Lab Level 4: 3 Ingredient Slots, Duration 5 Hours
  • Serum Lab Level 5: 4 Ingredient Slots, Duration 7 Hours
  • Serum Lab Level 6: 5 Ingredient Slots, Duration 7.25 Hours
  • Serum Lab Level 7: 5 Ingredient Slots, Duration 7.5 Hours
  • Serum Lab Level 8: 5 Ingredient Slots, Duration 8 Hours
  • Serum Lab Level 9: 5 Ingredient Slots, Duration 8.5 Hours
  • Serum Lab Level 10: 6 Ingredient Slots, Duration 9 Hours

Crafting a Serum

Now that you have your Vials and Ingredients, it’s time to put on your safety glasses and fire up the Bunson Burner. Upon entering the Lab (make sure you’re wearing closed-toe shoes) you will see the following menu;

Serum Lab

  • Manufacture Serums: This is where you craft your Serum.
  • Serum Inventory: This is where you see the crafted Serums.
  • Vials and Ingredients: This is where you see what’s under the safety hood that you have to work with.

Upon entering Manufacture Serums, you are presented with two tabs; Vials and Ingredients. Choose your Vial. There is an option to show the potential range of stats for each Vial and Ingredient at the bottom left of the screen. This is helpful when you are mixing!

Serum Ingredients

Also note in the above-right screenshot, if you poke the top section of the screen it will show you what you’ve added so far. This helps make sure you’re using the correct Ingredients and Vials you are going for. You can only add one type of each ingredient.

Once you are happy with your concoction, throw it on the flames and hit the “Manufacture” button. The finished Serum will be within the range of available stats, you aren’t guaranteed to get the top percentages (and probably won’t).

When you are ready to use your Serum, enter the Lab and hit the “Use Serum” button. It will bring up a list of your available Serums. Once you activate it, the timer starts!

Deciding what stats to craft

As the types of Vials and Ingredients continue to grow, there are more options to brew unique Serums that will benefit your base. You should decide what boosts you are going for before you even start crafting.

Do you need a CP boost for defending the CP? Perhaps use the Tidal Vial with Sky Rock, Tentacle Coral and Frozen Claw. Then add in some other Ingredients to help supplement what you are strongest in  (or weakest).

Are you a Rally Lead? Use the base Vial that corresponds to your strongest troop stats, and add Ingredients accordingly.

Conclusion

The Serum Lab, like other features such as the Intel Agencies,  give an extra opportunity to customize your stats, even if for a short time. Use these strategically, during RvR or daily battle, to enhance your strength both offensively and defensively. In today’s Guide we have discussed;

  • Knowing the cost to upgrade the Serum Lab
  • Crafting Serums in the Serum Lab
  • Decide what Serum Vials and Ingredients are right for your account
